There is no question that winning is the core of most negotiations and if you are going to try to succeed in these talks you should have a winning attitude. Many people have a winning attitude but don't use it.
They lack the willingness to make the first move and become open to being flexible. This is a losing attitude.
Most people who are successful at negotiation use the winning attitude because they have the skillset to make a reasonable offer and don't let it make them feel that they are trying to take advantage of the other person. To be successful you need to have both skill and attitude to succeed in negotiating.
Here is the attitude you need if you are going to be a successful negotiator. It is a winning attitude that is going to let you know that you are the winner in this negotiation and the other person is the loser.

Start by saying you want to be an expert negotiator. Then you will want to win the other person over. Once you have them on your side, then you will be able to use the skills you already have.
When you use these techniques and have an attitude, you will see that winning is very possible. You can win negotiating skills and negotiation process skills. The only thing that will stop you is the other person.
